Celebrate the luck o’ the Irish during these St. Patrick’s Day fun and festive events.
Saturday, March 11
This year, the Dirty Leprechaun 5k Run takes over the Plumper Pumpkin Patch, a new location, and a new course and obstacles designed by Jeremy Kaufmann. The course features challenging (and through-the-mud) obstacles. Your reward for a run well done is music and complimentary food and beer.
Thursday, March 16
Learn the basics of Irish dance before the big holiday at a “Winds of Donegal” drop-in class. Classes are $10 per person.
St. Patrick’s Day: Friday, March 17
St. Patrick’s Day Across the Land at McMenamins Grand Lodge goes all out with live music, bagpipers, leprechauns, Irish coffee cocktails, and McMenamins’ classic Irish stout all weekend long. (Free admission; all ages welcome).
St. Patrick’s Day is rocking at Dublin Pub with live music and celebrations from noon until close.
Three Mugs Brewing Co is hosting the Celtic trio, Crimson and Clover, who will be playing a variety of Irish music from jigs, reels and ballads.
