New Wineries and Wine Tasting Rooms
The Tualatin Valley is located in the award-winning Willamette Valley, and our wines reflect the unique terroir of the Tualatin Valley. As the Tualatin Valley continues to flourish, so does our wine industry, with the addition of new tasting rooms and wine bars.
Rallison Cellars Opens Tasting Room in Old Town Sherwood
Rallison Cellars, a boutique, vineyard estate winery located in Sherwood, Oregon, opened its first tasting room in Old Town Sherwood. Rallison has been producing wine for nearly three years at its vineyard and winery, located in the Chehalem Mountains. The winery produces a vast selection of single-vineyard red and white varietals, which may be tasted at its new tasting room. (Open Thursday-Sunday, 12-6 p.m.)
Blizzard Wines Tasting Room Now Open
After much anticipation, Blizzard Wines opened its first tasting room April 29, 2017. The new tasting room, with stunning panoramic views, is open to the public, and also will offer private seated tastings by appointment. Located in Hillsboro, along the Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway, Blizzard produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from grapes grown on the estate, as well as a variety of “big reds” with grapes sourced from warmer wine-growing regions. (Tasting fee: $15 per person; Hours, Friday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
New Breweries and Taprooms
As the Tualatin Valley continues to grow, so does the number of new places to enjoy Oregon-made beverages. The Tualatin Valley is located in the heart of “Beervana,” and is exploding onto Portland’s craft beer scene.
FlyBoy Brewing Company Lands in Tigard
Local craft brewery, FlyBoy Brewing, recently opened its third location in Tigard–the first in Tualatin Valley. FlyBoy Brewery and Restaurant features its own beers, as well as more than 26 other local and regional craft brews and hard ciders.
Little Beast Brewing Now on Tap
Little Beast Brewing, a new craft brewery, located in the city of Beaverton, is now brewing at its facility adjoining Westgate Bourbon Bar & Taphouse, which features its beers on tap. Little Beast specializes in fine, farmhouse-style beers from veteran brewer Charles Porter, previously the founding brewer at Logsdon Farmhouse Ales. Tours of the facility are available for groups.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
Cracker Barrel Chooses Tualatin Valley for its First West Coast Location
Tualatin Valley welcomed the very first West Coast Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, which opened in the city of Tualatin on April 17, 2017. Cracker Barrel is an iconic restaurant ideal for motorcoach tour groups and group dining with its southern-inspired breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. Visitors can browse the Cracker Barrel’s old-timey country store, which is stocked with old-fashioned candies, games and gift items. It’s a perfect stop for tax-free shopping!
LaScala Food Hall
The food hall trend has hit Tualatin Valley with new micro-restaurants opening in downtown Beaverton. The new LaScala development is home to a variety of eateries:
- The Vault at LaScala, a specialty wine, cocktail and microbrew bar
- Batter Up!, which specializes in sweet and savory waffles and waffles on a stick
- Sonia’s Mix Grill, featuring Salvodoran and Mexican cuisine
- Bobablastic, a bubble tea bar that also sells crepes, poke bowls, and bananas on a stick.
The micro-restaurants are fast, casual places, and share a small dining room. LaScala Food Hall is best for small groups.
