Where to Find Live Music in Tualatin Valley

Tualatin Valley’s live music scene is growing in leaps and bounds, as new and notable venues are attracting international, national and local live music acts.

Patricia Reser Center for the Performing Arts opened in early 2022 and has hosted live musical acts from around the globe. Located in central Beaverton at The Round, the city’s bustling entertainment and dining core, the intimate 550-seat theater recently announced its inaugural season, which features an eclectic international mix of live performances by acclaimed artists, such as Pink Martini, which launches The Reser’s 2022-2023 season.

McMenamins Grand Lodge launched its inaugural season of Concerts in the Grove this summer. This year, popular musical artists, such as She & Him, King Princess, Fitz & the Tantrums, Andy Grammer and The Psychedelic Furs have played the city of Forest Grove’s 3,000-person outdoor venue. Throughout the year, the Grand Lodge also hosts local musicians at Pat’s Corner, as well as its annual Sundown Grand Ol’ Country Festival.

Fans of American Blues music should venture to Beaverton’s Catfish Lou’s in the Legend Billiard Room. Billed as the Portland Region’s premier live music blues venue, Catfish Lou’s features rhythm and blues and funk musicians in an intimate setting.

New this year, Hagg Lake is hosting lakeside summer concerts. Concerts are free and a $7 parking pass is required. Food and adult beverages from Forest Grove makers are available.

In addition to the above venues, several wineries host live music during the summer months, as well as many bars throughout Tualatin Valley.
