WASHINGTON COUNTY HOTEL PERFORMANCE: December 2022

According to STR, which provides market data on the hotel industry around the globe, hotel performance, Washington County’s hotels are performing at or above 2019 levels in three key performance areas: Occupancy (OCC), Average Daily Room Rates (ADR) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).

Calendar Year 2022 – Year-End Numbers

For calendar year (CY) 2022, 69.8% of available hotels rooms were occupied, nearly a 10% over CY2021, and a decrease of only 1.5% when compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019.

The average daily room rate (ADR) for CY2022 was $128.79 (compared to $122.74 in 2019), and the revenue per available room (RevPAR) also exceeded 2019 amounts at $89.87 (vs. $87.57 in 2019).

December 2022

For the month of December 2022, 62.5% of available hotels rooms were occupied (compared to 54.1% in 2021).  The average daily room rate (ADR) for November was $122.23 (compared to $104.70 in 2019).
