Walters Cultural Arts Center Presents: Camp Crush

With glittery synth-rich tunes and electrifying chemistry, Camp Crush brings ‘80s new wave pop to the Walters stage with dazzling originality and fanciful sophistication. Inspired by bands like The Cure, New Order, Berlin, and The National, this duo “glide(s) through a cinematic brand of indie-pop that is completely endearing and damn-near mesmerizing” (Happy Mag).

Formed in 2017 by singer/keyboardist Jen Deale and drummer Chris Spicer, the Portland-based band draws listeners in with “silky synths, skyscraper melodies, and a grand sense of drama—an impressive throwback to lush ‘80s pop” (Portland Mercury).
